At the beginning of October, we were lucky enough to have the Israelsen family come visit again! We love them! It is so nice to have friends that are like family when we are so far away from any of our families!
We had some beautiful weather and the kids took advantage of that by playing outside as much as they could in 1 1/2 days :)!
These two are the best of friends, hopefully lifelong!!
Not only did we get to celebrate DeNae's birthday and watch General Conference together, but we got to celebrate Luke's birthday as well!!
He is growing up too fast for me!! He wanted bigger kid things this year as well as toys like Lego's etc. He asked for a CD from his favorite, The Piano Guys! Grandma and Grandpa were nice enough to send him one, he has listened to it almost every day since he got it!
Because he has had to take on a lot more responsibility and help out with my being so sick for almost 20 weeks, Nate and I decided he deserved a really nice present. Luckily my parents were game for going in on it and Luke got a ipod touch. (Can you tell he is excited?!)
It was great to have people to share the birthday with, makes it all the more special.
CAN'T believe he is 11!!!! Luke, STOP growing up!!! He is the best son a mother could ask for and I am so proud of the young man he is becoming. He is surrounded by girls, but he puts up with them. He is kind, generous, caring, obedient, intelligent, honest, and just good. Well, how could he not be when you look at who his dad is?! I am a lucky woman to have this little guy as my son. Thank you Luke, I love you more than you will ever know!!
