Improvise

Even though it isn't summer yet, we have had some exceptionally warm days here. Of course they are mixed in with a lot of cold rainy days, but when it is warm ,it is really warm. On those rare days the kids, meaning mostly just Gabby, complain that it is so hot and that it would be really nice to go swimming. We have no swimming pool, nor are any opened at this point, so the only logical thing for me to do was to get a hose. There really isn't a need for hoses and sprinklers out here, yes it rains THAT much, so we didn't own one. But I was able to find one for a mere $5 and that is cheap entertainment!! The kids had such a fun time running through as Nate tried to spray them, at times right in the face. Lily ran through once or twice and then decided it was too cold still. But she really liked helping dad get the other kids! We don't have much of a yard, but we made due. I am so glad my kids aren't too picky because we have to do a lot of improvising around here!!
