While Nate, Stan, DeNae, Ana and Silas were out running their race, the kids and I stayed at Ana's awesome house and had some fun of our own. Gabby, Lily and Matty were playing with some paper dolls. It was really cute to watch them roll play!!

Gabby kept asking me to take pictures of her while she had "curly hair". She is sometimes jealous of Lily's luscious locks so we put her hair in braids or twists so she can have curly hair the next day.
Then of course Kalia and Leah wanted in on the action! They are super cute and were doing all kinds of funny faces for me to take pictures of. But I went with the safe photo for the moms.
DeNae and Stan had brought "Matt-Matt", or Madolyn Duncan, to help them out with their kids. She is a dream!! She is so good with kids, and the kids love her!! She had a pack of them with her at all times. And it was even her birthday!! She was so awesome to come help!! Poor girl though, when we got home she got sick and ended up in the hospital to have her appendix out yesterday!!!
Lily had a lot of fun playing even though she didn't always want to share!
The boys enjoyed the time running around playing and sitting and watching cartoons. Kaden, who is a few years older then Luke, made everyone chocolate-chip pancakes when he got up in the morning and the kids were so excited! He, and all of Ana's family, were such great hosts!! Poor Ethan, you can see him asleep on the couch, had a pretty high fever for most of the trip and just wanted to snuggle on the couch with me or Matt-Matt.
Before we decided it was time to go outside to play, the girls tried jumping off the chair and couches. I think that is what motivated Madolyn to take them all on a walk.
We had fun playing games, taking pictures and just being silly! Definitely a great trip, even if we didn't get any pictures of the runners!! Thanks again Ana and Silas for having us up, the kids are already asking when we can come again!!

This message is for my precious Gabby Ann....I have always had curly hair and wished it was silky and straight like yours! You are a beautiful little girl with perfect hair! I love you.
