We have been so fortunate lately to have beautiful and WARM weather! For the past two weeks we have been in the mid 70's to mid 80's!! (Although today it is rainy and cold...) We have tried to take advantage, as much as possible, of this relief from the cold yucky weather we have had all winter; and believe you me, we NEEDED it!! Some friends in another ward invited us down to their fabulous home out in the woods for a Easter party the Friday before Easter. It felt like we were out at a cabin and the kids LOVED exploring all over. They had a chicken coup full of chickens that the kids thought was about the neatest thing they had seen. Gabby made friends with a little girl named Lydia and they ran around chasing the chickens.
There was a steep slope along the side of the house that the kids had fun running up and down, and a lot of the times sliding down!
Lily found this nice hammock under the deck that she thought was there for her and her alone. She was in heaven!
Eventually, with a little coaxing from Mom and Doda, she let Leah join her in her haven. She really loves Leah.
Then we all sat down for a picnic lunch. The kids were being so silly, it was really fun to watch them all having fun. They had so much pent up energy from having been locked inside for so long, it was such a nice break to be outside!!
It was a nice break for the moms too, we got to sit and chat and enjoy the outdoors as well. I love spring and it makes me sooo excited for summer to come!! (And my trip home!!!!!)

I love looking at your cute pics. You always take the best pictures. The kids are getting so big and it looks like they have a blast together. I'm glad you have made such great friends.
